Yes. Those were posts to the list. These are common ploys by new
subscribers that only subscribe to upset or cause trouble to a mailing
list or a listowner:

(1) They plead ignorance on how they got subscribed to this list and
demand to be taken off.
(2) They pretend that the messages from the list are private messages
and reply as if they are replying to a stranger. This is where you get
responses like, "Why are you writing me?"; "I don't know you."; "Quit
sending me your e-mail. I don't want it."; etc.
(3) They will reply to multiple posts with the word "unsubscribe" or
"remove me"...often salting the demand with exclamation or expletives.
(4) They cry that they are getting too many messages and they can't
stand it any more, and demand to get off right away.

The latter has always bemused me. Despite a few additional posts here
lately to our list daily average output, SeeknFind remains a low to
low-medium output list of much less than 50 messages a day and usually
less than 25 messages per day. I wonder how they would handle the 500
or more e-mails I get each day? :-)

If they want to subscribe to lists with no messages whatsoever, I can
give them hundreds at Onelist and eGroups that are dead in the water.
They won't get a single post out of those lists. :-)

Now as I pointed out to you, the filters that are set catch about 85 to
90 percent of the troublemakers before the general list ever sees them.
I then take care of them out of your sight. For those mischievous
messages that make it to the list, just ignore them. You all know that
I read our posts daily and often and will catch and deal with any
problems in a fairly timely manner. I also have several close friends
subscribed to SeeknFind that will get my attention for any problem that
I do not immediately see.

SeeknFind is not a moderated mailing list. I have the list set as
unmoderated in order to facilitate fast and timely answers to your
questions and give you all a little freedom in expressing yourself.
You can post to our list without having to check with me first. In
doing this, we are going to occassionally have temporary problems.
Have confidence in knowing that I will handle those problems.
