E-mail your techie the PPPLOG.TXT file, instead.
* Open the My Computer desktop folder.
* Open the Dial Up Networking folder.
* Right-mouse-button click your ISP DUN icon that you created and
select "Properties" from the menu.
* Select the "Server Types" tab
* Check the box that reads "Record a log for this connection."
* Click the Okay button
Now try to connect and upon failure to connect look for your PPPLOG.TXT
file in your Windows directory. See if it gives you a clue as to your
problem.
