I've been reading this thread...and wanted to make a
comment. I like this list and have learned about many
sites and other things...but I did want to say that in
the past on my other "server" email which is not used
for list mail... I have before received email from
what is obviously an email list. It has only happened
twice and did not upset me at all. I didn't respond
to it since I wasn't on the list and therefore the
list server would not accept my "post"...but I DID
receive someone else's email. I couldn't find any
similarity of email addresses (unless it was in the
ISP numbers), so I put it down to being a quirk or
either my ISP or their ISP or the internet. The fact
is, though...if these posters were indeed NOT on the
list...they couldn't post a reply to the list...only
to one of the individuals listed in the headers.
