Actually, the nitty gritty here is that most techs in my experience frequently know less than I do, and that's really pitiful (as well as scary!). My ISP techs couldn't guide me through a problem with hooking my modem (the one they recommended when we upgraded) up to the server! I finally figured it out...but I was very ticked off by then.
