Thanks so much for coming up with help and answers to my earlier questions.
.
I agree with Dennice's comments - Alan and you other members who
provide the answers to
the needs of others are SUPERCALIFRAGILIST. Keep on keeping on.

A couple of questions: Alan's message on Wednesday recommended Jack
Daniel's Web Site .
I went there and discovered that he uses a totally black background- and
I cannot read the screen.
A few sellers do that on ebay- and when I cant read the item- I pass it
by..
I know I can make a print out to find out what is there but isnt there
some way to make the page
legible on the monitor screen without doing this?

I hate to admit it but back at the end of September I got scammed out of
$15. It was an e-mail ad
directed to about 30 MSN addressees offering a program that would
keep me locked onto
MSN without being intermittantly cut off every few minutes, when I am on
the Internet There must have been maybe 100,000 or more addresses on a
purchased mailing list who were solicited. There was a St Louis address,
I knew that there were programs for AOL being offered on ebay- it was an
irksome problem -that affected me and many others. I emailed again and
again with no response. When my cancelled check came back it had a signed
endorsement other than the named payee followed by a written account #. I
began to suspect something when I had received identical solicitations with
different e-mail addresses. [EMAIL PROTECTED] ; [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

If Im out $15 its part of the learning process. If it sounds too good-it
probably isnt.
What about others who received solicitations and received nothing.
Is n2.com part of the scam? My bank wont do anything unless I file a
Police report. BBB says
there is a charge to investigate.

Do most scams go unreported- ? Any advice and suggestions and links
would be appreciated.

  Thanks Bob Johnsen [EMAIL PROTECTED]
