Vancouver, September 23-25, 2002

On September 23-25, Mira Geoscience will be hosting the second annual Gocad for Mining Users' meeting at the Rowing Club, Stanley Park, Vancouver.  Over the course of the three days there will be a day of technical presentations and industry case histories, a demonstration of Gocad as a collaborative tool between remote parties in an immersive environment, a workshop on the modelling of uncertainty and risk in a 3D GIS environment, as well as mini Gocad training sessions for those who want to experience what Gocad is all about.

Gocad provides integrated 3D earth modelling solutions in a modern 3D GIS environment. It allows the user to model the earth at all scales and incorporate spatial data from all disciplines that investigate the earth.  Geologists, Geophysists, and Engineers can combine all their data in the one shared model to better query, target and explore.  For example, it provides direct links with UBC -GIF 's inversion software to allow the construction of complex, geologically based starting and reference models, bringing a higher level of sophistication to geophysical inversion.
