Second Call For Papers
Date: 20th - 21st February 2003
Immediately following the 16th ASEG International
Conference and Exhibition.
Place: Novotel Hotel, Adelaide, South Australia. (A listed
ASEG Conference hotel).
Cost: Aus$390 for Symposium-only registrants.
Aus$330 for ASEG Conference registrants.
Aus$225 for fulltime students not registered with the
ASEG Conference.
Aus$165 for fulltime students also registered with the
ASEG Conference.
All costs include Australian GST (10% tax)
Invitation for Papers
Papers are invited in the areas of 3D EM modelling,
inversion and applications relating to
earth science. In keeping with the Symposium theme "3D EM at
Work", the committee
particularly invites papers which demonstrate practical
applications, successful or unsuccessful.
Papers will be accepted for verbal presentation and poster
sessions.
Sessions are planned on applications of 3D EM to:
Mineral exploration Boreholes Petroleum
Crustal studies Environmental studies Other
novel applications
Purely theoretical papers are welcomed for presentation as a
poster and for inclusion in the
conference volume. One page abstracts should be emailed
before October 31st 2002 to both

Presenters will be notified by November 15th 2002 and will
be requested to provide a full paper
by February 1st 2003 and a copy of their verbal
presentation, preferably in Power Point or as
a PDF, one week prior to the Symposium.
The committee plans to publish full proceedings of the
Symposium on a CD including a
section of peer-reviewed papers in a format meeting academic
guidelines for Research
Publications. Details will be provided in November with
notification of paper acceptance.
