Dear Colleagues: A few sites are attached that maybe worth a visit. The SMEG group recently held a one day seminar on the topic of "Exploration in the Shadow of the Headframe 2002" and many of the presented papers are available on the site. I have done a quick scan of some of the papers and not a lot of geophysics is apparent; maybe a message?
Go to http://www.smedg.org.au/index.html to have a look. A new to me is http://virtualexplorer.earth.monash.edu.au/VEexploration/index.html. Again, a strong geological theme but maybe the sort of virtual form we should consider seriously as to where we should be pitching more of the companion geophysical content? Also, not as scary as attending a Society of Econ Geologists meeting! The final one is the home page for the Australian National Dryland Salinity Program (http://www.ndsp.gov.au). Lots of good stuff on issues relating to the problems of salinity and human activity. There is also a link over to the National Airborne Geophysics Project home page; packed with good stuff as well. Given the strong 'salt' theme, I was surprised not to see a link over to a key site for the 'salt' aficionados; http://www.sonoranblends.com/. Regards Ken Witherly Condor Consulting, Inc.
