The key attributes we are looking for in this person is a Bachelors degree or higher, experience in mineral or oil exploration, and an in-depth working knowledge of both DGPS systems and Geosoft software. The search phase of our clearance project involves recording and analyzing the readings from multiple pulse induction instruments mounted onto a South African made Mine Resistant Vehicle along the temporary security zone between Eritrea and Ethiopia. The candidate would not be directly involved with the clearance of the suspect items, but would be required to live in field conditions with the team for 20+ days at a stretch per month.
