I don't want to be climato-centric, Roger, but I think the claim of "Spring"
defaults to those of us for whom it means an end to three feet of snow and
thirty-below. ;) It's been a helluva winter in most of Canada!

Tue March 5th at Metro Toronto Convention Center.
You will find discussion of last Fall’s MG events at SEG 2018 in Anaheim and
our regional MG committee meeting at Roundup 2019 in Vancouver.
More importantly you’ll find news of our upcoming MG sessions at SEG 2019
Conference in San Antonio, TX, from Sept 15-20, 2019, where MG will be hosting
at least one oral and one poster session, numbers permitting.
Speaking of which I will remind anyone and everyone who’s interested that
theSEG Expanded Abstract deadline is Monday April 1st, 2019.
Details can be found at www.seg.org.
As a reminder to anyone submitting mining geophysics themed abstracts that you
should specify “Mining Session”.
And for those attending SEG 2019 this Fall, MG and Grav-Mag will be co-hosting
a special workshop honouring Geophysics Giant Misac Nabighian to be held
on Thursday, Sept-19 morning. We encourage all MG members attending SEG 2019
to stay on an extra day to attend this workshop. Anyone interested in
more details can contact me or Aline Melo Tavares ([email protected]).
