Thanks Steve:  That is an important additional bit of information that he was 
in Switzerland.  That was not in the Global News report.  It might indicate 
that the source of the infection was not another person at the show.

For those who attended the PDAC conference and have not yet heard, a conference 
attendee from the Sudbury, Ontario area was diagnosed last night with 
coronavirus. The Canadian health authorities advise that all attendees 
self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and seek medical attention if need be.
 
  
 
The person is a man in his 50’s who attended the PDAC on March 2-3. His 
workplace is apparently theWillet Green Miller Center (i.e. home of the Ontario 
Geological Survey and Laurentian University Earth Sciences Department). Also, 
apparently the person had been in Switzerland prior to the conference.
 
  
 
I’m not being alarmist here, just a head’s-up.
