Hi all, Lia, Rob, and Stephen, thank you for your comments and input. Anyone else, please also share your thoughts as that can help those of us planning the SEG meeting (technical program, workshops, field trips, lunch, etc) communicate better to the SEG upper levels when asked.
The reviews are going ahead as normal and ends on Monday. Then we will build the sessions before the end of May so that authors can be notified with the accept/reject decisions and details of their presentation date/time. In normal times, this is done so early because many speakers need to apply for visas to travel to the US, which in turn takes more time. Not being the US myself but helping to plan the technical program and a workshop, I agree a Plan B is prudent. Take care, Sarah — Sarah Devriese, PhD, P.Geo.
