Hi Mike

The quote appeared in an article last month in a major newspaper (New York
Times) and was attributed to Stephen Hawking. I thought was ‘interesting’
and did a search on Quote Investigator as Mark mentioned this AM; it was
suggested Hawking might not be the source but could not actually pin down
who was…one source suggested the phase was an “aphorism”, defined as a terse
saying embodying a general truth and lacking a specific source.
