The drone workshop discussed earlier this year to be part of the upcoming SEG conference, is going ahead but has been decoupled from the main SEG conference will be held as a stand-alone SEG virtual event Nov 4-6. The organizers will be posted further information before the end of September. I have been in contact with Ron Bell one of the organizers and the event will spa, two days, running about 3 hrs. each day in order to reduce 'VF' virtual fatigue. Regards/Ken >From first call notice May 6, 2020 Summit on Drone Geophysics The current list of presentation topics include - drone magnetic surveys for mineral exploration in South America - drone magnetic system for UXO - UAV GPR - Semi-airborne TEM - UAV gamma ray spectrometry - UAV magnetic data processing - UAV EM for shallow investigations - Seismic measurements from a UAV - Testing a low cost drone magnetic survey system The organizing committee is planning on 12 to 15 oral presentations with an additional 10 poster presentations.
