SEISA-

This past weekend was the Women's Clinic hosted by Texas A&M on Lake Bryan.
Report time was 12 PM and the clinic ended around 4:30 PM. The conditions were
perfect for on the water coaching and drilling, with a high of 64 degrees and a
constant breeze of 7 mph from the east. We started off the day by dividing into
two groups by experience level, and then focusing on the needs of each
individual sailor. After the quick chalk talk, we moved onto the water and
started off with some free sailing followed by some drills: follow the leader,
vanishing lay lines, rudderless sailing, max tacks, max gybes, backwards
sailing, and downwind starts. We also practiced our roll tacks, roll gybes and
basic boat handling.

A huge thanks goes to Texas A&M for hosting the clinic and to Hugh Haggerty and
David Valentine for doing a great job at coaching. Another thanks goes to all
the women's teams that came to the clinic, including Rice, TAMUG, TAMU and SMU.
Thanks for making it a great clinic.

Happy Holidays, see ya'll next year!
