Hi Rodrigo,

it seems like you may not yet have defined response files for your Seisan installation, which you need to compute magnitudes and stress drops (in addition to the station locations that you correctly added to STATION0.HYP). The response files, in either RESP.*, _SEED, _GSE, or _SEI format, go into SEISAN/CAL. If they are defined for the correct network / location / station / channel-codes, then Seisan will find them automatically there.

Cheers,

Felix

Hi! I need some help with the calculation of the stress drop and the using of AUTOMAG.

When I use AUTOMAG, the following error appears:

/P time on component DZ/

/Time of P 2009  412 2134   4.2/

/S time from P on component DZ/

/Epicentral distance    2.3/

/Time of S/Lg 2009 412 2134   4.7/

/No response for S002 DH Z/

/Try next channel/

I have this message for every station. Also when I try to used the spectrum option in the MULPLT window, I have an error which says “No response info for xxx”. What does it means?

On the other hand, I don’t understand how to use GETSTRESSDROP, or if there is another way to calculate the stress drop.

I attached the edited STATION0.HYP that I’m using. The last 40 stations are the one that I added.

Thanks!
