In my opinion, Semantic MediaWiki itself (or through the Semantic Result Formats extension) needs enhancements for data output. Such as configurable number output (precision, decimal point ./,/on/off), configurable date output (strftime format string support or something like that). THIS would give new opportunities to *really* use the stored data in the way you want. Once you can configure the output of the queries exactly the way you want, you can essentially build anything, because template support for data output is already there in SMW. Semantic Drilldown is there to give you an overview and some kind of generic statistics view, for which the generic interface that it has now works quite well - isn't it? But then again, I never really put it into use, so I may be missing the whole point.
