Yaron, I don't care one way or another and agree that following MW standards
is a good idea - just keep in mind that there are other extensions that us
$wgGoogleMapsKey -
http://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=%24wgGoogleMapsKey

It would probably be a good idea to have some fallback mechanism at least
for now so it uses $wgGoogleMapsKey if $egGoogleMapsKey is not set.
