Hi, as a somewhat belated Xmas present, the SMW homepage is now open for public editing and account creation [1]. Feel free to add new pages or update existing ones. Only the core documentation pages are restricted to the user group of "contributors" -- please send me an email if you want to be added to this group. Users who contributed before should already find themselves in the new user group.
Opening the site follows a long-standing request from the community, and is not intended to replace any existing wikis that are concerned with SMW. However, moving content from existing communities could of course be discussed if considered useful. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all our users and contributors for a great 2009 with many exciting developments around SMW, including the very successful user meetings that we had (planning for next year's meetings are under way). Next year, we are going to start with the release of SMW 1.5 (planned for end of January). Amazingly, 2010 will also be the year of the fifth anniversary of the project. Best wishes for 2010, Markus [1] http://semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/SMW_Homepage_Open_for_Editing -- Markus Krötzsch <mar...@semantic-mediawiki.org> * Personal page: http://korrekt.org * Semantic MediaWiki: http://semantic-mediawiki.org * Semantic Web textbook: http://semantic-web-book.org --
