Hi.
Okay, it is good to have well defined project boundaries!
One feature request would be to add support for recurring events in the
Semantic Forms Inputs calendar entry.
Can I ask how enhancements and bugs are going to be prioritised for this
project? Are you going to take the top bugs for those extensions in
Bugzilla, for example? Otherwise I think you will get bombarded with
request emails like mine from this mailing list!
Best regards
Neill.

Hi again,
just needed to clear that Header Tabs, SRF/Exhibit (Exhibit" format
of Semantic Result Formats) , Halo are not under the defined goal of
the project. my previous mail might give a false impression of that.
We basically focus on *Semantic Forms, **Semantic Drilldown
,**Semantic Forms Inputs . *The main goal is to improve the JS by
adding new features in these extensions and make these extensions use
Jquery.

Hi there.
Sounds like an excellent project and I wish you all the best
for it. It's people such as yourself who make Open Source
projects great.
There are definitely a few areas where javascript issues cause
real problem. Not being able to have more than one map when
using HeaderTabs, for example. Plus only being able to have
one exhibit format query per page. Also the Prototype
javascript engine used by Halo stopping maps working. There
are all sorts of issues with IE7 as well, which whilst
tempting, cannot be ignored.
Good luck, I will follow your blog with great interest!
Best regards
Neill.

Hello everyone,
My name is Sanyam Goyal. I am a final year student
at IIT Mumbai, India. I have been accepted in Gsoc2010 to do
a project with MediaWiki titled "Javascript overhaul of
Semantic MediaWiki
<http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Summer_of_Code_2010#Javascript_overhaul_of_Semantic_MediaWiki>"
under the mentor Yaron Koren. This is my first step in the
world of open-source community and I get this exciting
opportunity to work with MediaWiki. I am sure I will have a
lot of fun working with the community.
I have created a Blog page
http://gsoc2010mediawiki.blogspot.com/ for this project. I
will keep updating this page with latest status about the
project, the problem I am facing, Interesting findings etc.
Feedback and comments are always welcomed. I look forward to
interact with you guys more in future.
Thanks
