Hi, Neill - the basic plan is to just go through all of the Javascript, switching it over to jQuery and adding new features, and trying to make it work as well as possible; there's no major roadmap beyond that. Thanks for the 'datepicker' feature request: changes having to do with Semantic Forms Inputs are trickier, because that extension has its own developer, Stephan Gambke; and I don't want to step on anyone's toes. There's also some natural ambiguity about which inputs belong in SF and which belong in SFI; we definitely plan to talk to Stephan about all of that.
Denny - wouldn't improving the Javascript for Exhibit necessarily entail rewriting the whole thing? If so, that seems well beyond the scope of this project, and the Wikimedia Foundation is probably the wrong organization to be doing it... or do you think there's some relatively simple fix?
