Hi Valerio, I do know for a fact that HaloACL patches MW core directly to implement Access Control as Yaron and Markus surmised.
Either upgrade to the latest SMW+, refresh MW, or reverse the the MW core patches to use straight SMW. Patch files can be downloaded from http://smwforum.ontoprise.com/websvn/.
