This feature looks nice. If I add [1] to [2] and add an instance, after a
refresh, this instance will not be shown in the table, as it does not belong
to the category "Athlete". Should this not be added to the newly created
instance?

The "tabular forms" feature is going to be part of the Halo extension v1.5.3
which
will be released end of March/early April.
