Although I'm not a new contributor, I normally only contribute bug testing and reports. I finally made my first very simple code contribution here, with a patch: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38136 I hope that very simple fix for a very serious problem is included in the 1.8 release. I could not figure out why the code was written the way it was, and I have found no problems with undoing it.
