Well consensus was that it was a good idea, but probably trying to implement it for K itself might be loosing some energy if it has to be redone for sip-router. Also, I think this is a community-building effort more than anything else, so I agree that starting it for K given the situation might be unwise. I am still willing to help in those regards, and will probably post something on sip-router after the 1.5 K release, supposedly the last standalone one. I think the first version of sip-router will need some communication to the community(ies) of K and SER users, and that it would be nice to integrate some variant of my proposal at that time.
