there was SUB/NOT and MWI support in SEMS 0.9 versions, and with some
more recent modifications in the core it should be fairly simple to
pull that over. having said that, I'm not sure the structure of this
is suited to larger user base: in fact some kind of more advanced
(message storage) DB should be used instead of keeping all the
subscriptions and message states in memory. So I think that this would
need to be reworked architecturally.
