i didn't get any response to this from sems mailing list. since the question is about master version, i'll repost here in case sems is not followed by developers:
i noticed that master sems can now play S16_LE formatted wav audio files that are recorded at 44100hz. what is the current recommended audio file format and rate? i have seen somewhere in the sources a comment that internal rate now is 32000hz. can master sems now play also other that wav files, e.g., speex files? i tried a speex file and got May 11 21:50:07 siika sems[3258]: [#7f24c535f700] [playFile, DSMCall.cpp:601] ERROR: audio file '/home/jh/gong.spx' could not be opened for reading. and playing mp3 file with dsm playFile resulted in crash reported in https://bugtracker.iptel.org/view.php?id=79 to which i haven't got any comment either. -- juha _______________________________________________ Semsdev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.iptel.org/mailman/listinfo/semsdev
