Canada’s sanctions attempt to hinder implementation of Ukraine peace deal – Moscow
New Canadian sanctions are another anti-Russian step, hindering restoration of normal bilateral relations, TASS quoted Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevich as saying on Wednesday. The decision to expand sanctions against Russian officials and companies under the pretext of the developments in Ukraine “look like an awkward attempt to hinder the implementation of the conflict settlement agreements, reached in Minsk on February 12 with Russia’s active constructive role,” according to Lukashevich.
