Officers from the Serbian police <https://www.dailystar.co.uk/latest/police> received a call reporting a shooting at the school <https://www.dailystar.co.uk/latest/students> in central Belgrade at around 7.40am (BST). A seventh-grade boy believed to be 12 or 13 years old entered Vladislav Ribnikar primary school, in Vračar in the capital, Belgrade with his father's gun. In a statement, the force said the boy fired several shots in the direction of other students and towards the school guards. Serbian media has reported that the guard was killed in the shooting.
