Jeez...I didn't know pressure washing an engine could cause so much harm. I
have been told in the past to cover electrical connections (ie dist cap) and
the intake, but still it seems more likely that damage will occur. Is there
a proper method to cleaning the engine? I think someone mentioned using 409
w/ a rag. I guess it's "do it by hand" job. I'm used to spraying engine
degreaser all over the engine...let it settle, then pressure wash everything
down. I guess I've been lucky then...
