How adversely does the size of the tire/rim effect the odometer?
5 years ago, I had a Honda Accord that I bought 13in aftermarket
wheels/tires for. The rims were 8 hole universals, so they were put on
my Nissan when it was bought.
Now, if the Nissan's odometer was configured for 175/70/14s and I had
175/70/13s on the car for 90k+ miles, it seems that my odometer would be
off by a considerable amount. Do I have more or less milage than what
the odometer is showing?
If this is in one of the FAQs, please let me know how I would look this
up or where it is exactly.
