I have been thinking about making a change to the mailing list. Early last
year the reply-to line was changed to reflect the email address of the person
who sent the message. Previously the reply-to line had the list email address
so replies were automatically sent back to the list. The initial reason for
the change was to prevent people from easily sending messages to the list so
they would hopefully reduce the amount of material quoted in their replies.
That original reason is not really relevant anymore because I have since
upgraded the list software so it is now possible to filter out taglines which
has the effect of reducing quoted material. So now I am thinking about
changing it if back.

Now I have two options: I can either set the reply-to line to contain the list
email address or both the list email address and the message author's address.
Now the purpose of this message is to get some feedback. Which would you
prefer? Or would you prefer that the reply-to stay the way it is now?
Changing it would make sending replies to the list easier.
