I think something is wrong with the either the radar gun or the clock the track
was using. When I use to run my stock mustange at the 1/4 mile track, the best
I could do was 14.6 sec at 98 mph. I don't see how you can run 14.4 at
71mph. It doesn't seem real. My friend who has a 93 rx7 turbo (stock) use to
run in the mid to 13's and that was at like 111mph. Shoot, even my friends that
ran nitros use to only get down to the low 11's and that was at some crazy top
speed. I guess something is really wrong at this track you ran at. BTW, my
frinds and I use to run at 2 differnt tracks, one here in MD just south of the
DE line and another in southern MD just outside of DC and the seep and times
were comparable. I've never heard of any vehicle that ran a 14.4 or even in the
15's at 71mph.
