I am not guilty of a single one of those things. I have flamed about things
that are safety hazards, including cut springs, worn shocks, and clear and
blacked out tailights. Yeah, the facts and statistics are out there for the
dumbass street racers. Most are ignorant and think that as long as they are
careful, nothing will happen. I don't care how good of a driver you are,
shit happens. It might not even be your fault. You know, you say we as a
community should not advocate street racing, how about you show us how you
don't advocate street racing by vowing to give up street racing forever and
try racing at a drag strip, auto-x or road course. You say you are more of
a auto-x guy rather than a drag guy. Where the hell do you get twisties on
the street to race another car on? You want variables? You consider
dodging little children and other cars variables? All the street racing you
mention is a lot like drag racing to me. How about a show of faith and
giving up street racing and showing up to the next auto-x in your
neighborhood?

>Until everyone can say that they are not guilty of all of these things
>(and the things that I have not mentioned), I think that as a community
>we should not advocate street racing, promote vehicle maintenance, and
>if the street racers are going to race, we should at least try to
>educate them without flaming them to death.
