For what it's worth, guys, I painted my rear drums and front calipers with
regular high-temp engine paint ($4-$6 at Advance Auto) and they all look
very good. I just cleaned everything first with Carb Cleaner, taped off the
surrounding parts for overspray and put on several coats of the low-gloss
black. No scratches, no flaking or peeling, no discoloration, looks good.
The paint I used (forget the name...) did have ceramic particles in it, so
look for that, I suppose.
