I've just about said the hell with the paint, I've got a couple of things
under the hood I'd like to have power coated and sents I lost a hole days
worth of work on the car due to the weather (nasty, nasty thunderstorms
today) I think I'll just take the things from under the hood and the calipers
and box them up and send them off tomorrow and have them power coated and
that way I don't have to worry about it any more. The funny thing is the
fancy named caliper paint costs around $45.00, cost including shipping for
power coating $48.00 (calipers only) dua I think I'll go with the power
coating, it will cause the car to be down about 4 extra days but I'll never
have to mess with it again. You know as many brake jobs as I've done in my
life, I've never heard of these different caliper paints and never painted
one yet, ha ha
