Hey List,
Need some advice on whether to replace my changer or try to get it repaired.
I think the eye of the laser needs to be cleaned but not for sure. I put a
disc cleaner in the unit and it played two or three songs and then the next
song started and then the player could not recognize the presence of the
song.. I don't know if I have diagnosed the problem right, but when it played
after the initial cleaning it sounded fine. Now it is on the blink again. Now
for those of you who are good with these things. Am I on the right track for
what is wrong with the unit? Is this worth trying to get fixed? Maybe most
important, how much should something like this cost to repair. All help is
appreciated.
