It is a pain to switch out because you have to buy new
amps, speakers, and headunit since the amplifiers are attached to each
speaker and the signal coming out of the radio is proprietary.  I think
there are adapters though.


Does that mean that a bose head unit system can't be swapped into a car that
doesn't have a bose system?  What do you mean by adapters?
