Hey Scott,
I think the problem with the list may be that the same topics are discussed so
many times that people are bored senseless and they feel that bashing people in
front of the whole list is entertaining. I, for one, am just about nauseous
with "hey which header is the best" or "hey, how do I install a CAI". I know
these questions will keep coming up forever because people are too lazy to read
the FAQ and everyone wants instant gratification. I would like to make a
suggestion. Maybe we could have a daily topic, so there would be a focus to the
threads. For example headers. People who have installed headers could talk
about how it affected their HP, torque, MPG, etc. We could also discuss which
headers are best for the money (according to actual reports, not SOTP findings.)
We could also discuss header installation, header wraps, what else you should
install along with the header and things related. If you really, really (I mean
really) want to stop all of the off-topic threads, just remove the offenders
from the list. That includes me...I know I'm guilty. Of course, if someone has
an immediate need or repair or question, they could post that even if it doesn't
cover the topic of the day. Scott, you ( or Terrin...isn't he some sort of
demi-god now? :) could pick the daily topics and keep track so we could discuss
all Sentra/Nissan related parts before repeating some. I am all for anything
that keeps this list on topic.
