The Stingers are a total rip off so are the Phoenix Gold's. Don't get me
wrong they are both good companies and offer nice products, but there is no
way I will ever be paying to have on of their alternators in any of my cars.
You can have a custom made Ohio Generators for less than the price they sell
there's. Damn it there is also a company that makes the alternators for
ambulances for about that price, and you can even have dual output on them,
I wish I could remember the name of the company. www.mechman.com is about
the best I've seen for bang/$ performance. They are also very customer
service oriented and willing to do custom work to get you what you want.
There are also key points in the factory electrical system that should be
upgraded if you plan on running anything more than stock equipment.
