Let's thank the powers that be for Ben H. Baird!!! You are a good man
for your work my friend....lol.
It was asked if the Stinger Alt. was made for our cars....I can only say
that I asked about one for my own car about 3 years ago and once I heard
the price, I was scared away.
I love the Stinger equipment that I have used in the past, and will
continue to use them in the future (any Stinger reps out there seeing
this....I need a sponsor...lol), but I won't (and wouldn't suggest) such
mod for such an exagerated price. This mod is for the pros trying to
impress their friends.
Just as a side note to the whole stereo competition thing:
I had a friend who worked for Best Buy at one time. He was given a
"company discount" on things that he bought. His "discount" was 5% over
cost. After looking into a couple of things for his car and asking the
management about the prices (b/c they seemed a bit unreal compared to
the customer's cost), he learned that there was a 300% mark up on most
audio equipment.
Disagreeing with such a policy, but wanting to take advantage of the ppl
who were screwing customers out of their money, he bought as much as he
could afford @ the lower cost, and then quit the job. His morals
wouldn't allow him to work for a company who was taking advantage of
ppl.
Prolong: He now works for an install shop and makes $35/hr. doing
installs.
I guess when you are the one actually making the money, your morals can
change.
Sentra material: I have never bought sound equipment from Best Buy for
my car, and have never let my friend do an install @ his work on my car.
