  Look at the MPH. MPH can tell you what kind of horsepower you are making.  
Usually on a warmer day your MPH will be down a bit.  Maybe the day or night 
that you had your best ET it was colder?  I raced my 200sx this weekend and 
found out that I had to leave the line on the rev limiter.  When I left at 
5000rpm it spun for a few feet than hooked up and bogged.  6000rpm, same 
thing but, a little better.  About 6800rpm with the pedal to the floor it did 
it's best.  My times went from 17.22, 17.02, to a 16.92 all in the heat of 
the day (about 94 degrees).  I have had a previous best of  16.55 at a 
different track though.  My previous best from this track was a 16.70.
    You also stated that you had more gas.  More weight means slower et.
