It is confusing. But I found the very helpful article
about Lightweight Flywheels. Take some time to read
this. It is very interesting.

Flywheels

I am sorry that I couldn't explain well about this.
In fact, this thing confused me a lot when I was
looking for a flywheel. I decided to get one anyways
to actually test the real thing. For some reason, it
didn't help for the acceleration. Maybe because my
car
is not in the perfect condition right now. But it
does
make the engine rev up faster if the gear is in the
neutral position. But I still don't know, I will see
how my car perform when my car is in good shape.

peace!
