Well, I have a timing light, I set it as explained in the FSM to 10degrees
BTDC.  Its especially bad when climbing hills when weather is warm. I looked
at the EGr and anything else that could be causing my problems but I can't
seem to solve this one.
When the pinging is bad I can hear multiple sharp rapid pings that i can
sometimes even feel through my accelerator pedal.
A while ago I was shown a TSB for my year Sentra equipped with a possibly
bad MAF causing the problems. I can't afford a new MAF and can't track down
that TSB that mentioned the new part number for that revised MAF so, I give
up!
Hopefully I can kill this engine soon, I can't wait to get rid of it.
