As far as welding 2 different cars to eachother goes, it's not a new
idea. The MR2 that I was referring to supposedly had been done that way,
and it is common practice down south.

There is actually a place in my hometown who does this quite often. They
take 2 nice cars of the same type and model (usually cars that are WAY
out of ppl's price range) and weld them together to make one car.

I've seen some of the most beautiful cars ever shown come off that lot.
The guy who does the work is an artist when it comes to bodywork and
paint.

As far as the integrity of the car when he is done, I don't know. I've
seen him roll cars out of there pretty fast tho, so his reputation is
still intact dispite the previous history of the car(s).
