Your right Mike, the best is a modest cam, our cams are small for emissions
and especially the exhaust cam. High lift cams I would consider because I am
porting the head and maybe going up in compression, shave the crank (knifing)
micropolish the journals to allow it to spin faster and rev quicker,
lightweight titanium rods and pistons with low friction rings. This all in
all should decrease the reciprocating mass. The cams are the hold up because
that determines what I do with the engine
