This is a very common problem, and i'm not sure if there ever was a definitive
conclusion ever made to the cause of the ga16de tendency to stall when coming
down to idle. I personally believe its the auxiliary air controller and solenoid.
I removed mine and cleaned it out with throttle body cleaner, I also cleaned out
my throttle body for good measure. I then put in a bottle of injector cleaner in
my gas tank and i have never had the stalling problem again. the aac and throttle
body both had a build up of gunk in them which may have been the cause of the
problem. I hope this helps
