I'm posting this information just in case it might help some one else out. I wanted to install the Engery Suspension front control arm bushing kit on my 1997 Sentra. I'd been told and re told Engery Suspension didn't make a front control arm bushing kit for this year Sentra (at the time I wanted to do the install, they might now, I don't know) I contacted Courtesy Nissan in Texas to find out if it was possable to use another year Sentra's Engery Suspension front control arm bushing kit and they said to use a kit from a 1994, which I bought from them and it has set around until I felt like doing the install. Well it does fit and has gone on with out any problems. I thought at the time I did this install of the bushings it would be a good idea to replace the ball joints, when I went looking for the ball joints I was told the car was to new to have an after market ball joint maker and I'd have to order new control arms just to get the ball joints and all the Nissan Parts places said the same thing also. But I got to thinking it might be the same kind of a deal as the control arm bushing turned out to be, I found a parts man who was willing to do the parts book looking for me to check this out and I found out that once again the ball joints from a 1994 Sentra will and do fit on a 1997 Sentra contol arm, every thing is the same. I think the cut off year for the model B-13 is 1994 and B-14's run from 1995 to 1999, being as mine is a 1997 it's a B-14 but all of the contol arm parts (bushings/ball joint) will fit just fine. I took it to a local machine shop I use and they could/would not press out the old bushings and ball joints, I didn't want to heat up the controll arms with a torch to remove the old bushings because I just didn't like the idea that came with the remove and replace instructions and I didn't like the idea of beating the heck out of the control arms to replace the ball joints, so I finaly found a auto/truck frame and chassis shop who would do the press work for me. So for $55.00 and 2 days later (while they waited around to get the time to do the work) I had my rebuilt control arms with the bushings and ball joints I wanted. SO, end of my story, if you've got a 1997 Sentra and your having trouble finding Engery Suspension control arm bushings and ball joints and you'd like to do the same change over as I have just order the parts for a 1994 and they will (should) fit. I'm just guessing the front suspension set up is the same on the B13's as it is on the B14 models. I'll post a handeling report if any one is interested on the use of the 1994 Sentra parts on a 1997 if any one is interested as soon as I get some parts back on the car I've sent off to be power coated that I'm waiting for.
