If your trying to improve the performance of it, instead of just replacing
the air filter, why don't you give some thought to putting on a Cold Air
Intake? A K&N air filter will cost about $35.00 just by it's self, and if
you'd add about another $160.00 to the $35.00 (for just the air filter) you
could get a Cold Air Intake like a Place Racing and it comes with a K&N air
filter. The Place Racing Cold Air Intake costs ABOUT $195.00 plus shipping, I
think I payed around $220.00 with shipping for mine and if you live in the
state of California you might be charged sales tax, because Place Racing is
in California and even thow it would be an interent sale if you placed the
order on line they would still have to charge you sales tax. Another way to
go might be to check the Sentra On Line sales add's and look to see if some
body MIGHT have one for sale or you might find a Jim Wolf Tech. Pop Charger
for a good price, there not as good as a Place Racing C.A.I. because they
draw there air from under the hood but they are much better that a stock air
box set up. If you do find a used one (POP or C.A.I.) just make sure it's the
correct model to fit your Sentra and your going to get all the nuts bolts and
washers and the small mounting bracket if your getting a POP charger.
Rounding up all these little odds and ends can sometimes be a pain in the
butt and it adds to your install time.
Good Luck
