Maybe you just heard wrong... maybe it was ethyl alcohol, because putting
rubbing alcohol in your gas tank is about as good as putting pure water in
there, you just don't do it!  Did he say RUBBING alcohol?  Because, I have
heard of street racers set up with an engine that burns ethyl alcohol, but
not rubbing alcohol.
